Let us never forget these attacks, lest we forget how cruicially important the posession of civilisation is, and how damaging it is for those who do not have it.

Let us never forget the bravery of the American firefighters and civilians on that dark day seven years ago. Let us never forget the bravery of the American government in their willingness to fight for what is right, instead of what the collective erroneously demanded, and what popular trends dictated.

Let us never forget the principles America stands for. Let us never forget how dear is the individual. Let us never forget how dear freedom of speech, how dear criticism, how dear creativity, how dear life is and ought always to be to those of us with minds with which to reason and be civilised. Let us never forget our human rights. Let us never forget our liberty.

On this day, we are all Americans.
